Doctors dispensing medicine II

This is being actively discussed in the Dobbs forum and I must say that in lieu of any major overhaul to our healthcare financing system, there can be no better way than to give patients the choice of getting medicines from either their doctor or their local pharmacy. If you force patients to get medicines only from the pharmacy, then you are taking away that choice.
