Coast Guard crashes into Sea Shepherd vessel

There is a fracas over a conflict between the Coast Guard and a Sea Shepherd vessel recording the seal hunt (Video at bottom of post). The law of the sea is extremely clear in this regard - if there are 2 motor vessels in danger of a collision, the starboard (right) vessel has the right of way. Also, if a vessel is overtaking (as the Coast Guard vessel was in the first instance) they must maneuver to avoid the other vessel.
